St John & St James children were fortunate to receive a visit from the author Tomos Roberts. Year 6 wrote poems with him and then had the chance to take part in a poetry slam, which they also judged! It was amazing to see the creativity within the class and we are so proud of the topics they chose to write about; some being about problems in the world that they would like to fix. Some children then decided to edit and uplevel their poems and submit them to potentially be included in a book with poems. We hope our children get selected!
