Rooted in our Christian values of kindness, compassion and respect, our Wellbeing Warriors recognise that caring for our emotional wellbeing is just as important as looking after our physical health. They encourage children to talk about their feelings, ask for help, support one another and take time to care for themselves and others.
Our focus this year
Our Wellbeing Warriors will focus on kindness, connection, confidence and emotional wellbeing, helping to create a school community where everyone feels that they belong. They will listen to children’s views, share ideas and work together to make our school an even more caring and inclusive place to learn and grow.
What will we be doing?
Our Wellbeing Warriors will:
Promote kindness, friendship, respect and inclusion.
Encourage children to look out for and support one another.
Share positive wellbeing messages across the school.
Help children talk about their feelings and worries.
Promote healthy ways to manage emotions and build confidence.
Listen to children’s ideas and ensure every voice is valued.
Create wellbeing displays, posters and campaigns.
Organise inclusive activities and wellbeing events at playtime.
Through their work, our Wellbeing Warriors help us to live out our school vision by showing love for our neighbours and caring for one another. They remind us that everyone has a role to play in creating a compassionate and welcoming community.
