This week in year four, we explored our school word of the week: Respect. We had some fantastic discussions about what respect means and why it is so important in our everyday lives. We shared our ideas and thought about how respect helps us to create a happy, safe and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and included.
We also explored the many ways we can show respect to others, such as listening carefully, using kind words, taking turns, celebrating differences and treating everyone with kindness. We learned that even the smallest acts of respect can make a big difference! We are excited to put our ideas into action and continue showing respect to our friends, teachers and everyone in our school community.
