This week in Year 4, we learned all about Abraham and his amazing faith in God. We explored how Abraham trusted God and followed his instructions, even when things were difficult. This helped us understand that faith means believing in and trusting God, no matter what.

We also learned about the special promises, or covenant, God made with Abraham. These included promises that Abraham would have many children and grandchildren, that his family would grow into a great nation, and that he would be given a great name. To help us understand Abraham’s life, we created a timeline of important events and discussed which moment we thought was the most significant and why.
