This week, Year 2 conducted a scientific investigation to test which materials would be best to build a tent out of. For our tents, we wanted to make sure they were waterproof and wind resistant. Each table had a different material to create a tent out of: plastic sheets, paper, card and fabric. Once we’d constructed our tents, we tipped water to see if they were waterproof, and tested the tents’ wind resistance by blowing the fan on them. We worked collaboratively to create our tents and loved working scientifically to explore different materials.
