This week in art, Year 2 have been looking at Kente cloths, as part of our weaving unit of work. They used card to create paper loom, then learnt that the wrap runs from top to bottom and the weft runs from side to side.  With great determination and focus, the children were able to complete their weaving using the weaving technique of under and over. They will then take this practice into the next lesson where they will be creating their own design for a Kente cloth.
