This week, Year 1 began exploring their brand new unit of learning in Science – Seasonal Changes. The children began by reviewing their prior knowledge and sharing the similarities between Autumn and Winter. They then went on to use their scientific skill of observing to sketch images of the trees in our playground in their current state. As Autumn progresses, they will continue to revisit the tree and discuss what they notice about the changes that it goes through as we enter a new season.
