This week in RE, year 2 were looking at the Lord’s Prayer. We were focusing on the line ‘lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil’.  The children were given some popcorn ‘temptation’ and given two options you can eat it now or wait till the end of the lesson where you would get extra popcorn.  This lead to a conversation on how you can be tempted by things and how we can choose to resist them.  Some children chose to eat theirs and some chose to wait.  We also refreshed what forgiveness means and when we should forgive people as well as what it may look like.
