This week in reception, our favourite activity was getting creative with Elmer the Elephant! We used colourful tissue paper to create our very own Elmer, carefully sticking the pieces onto our elephants to make them bright and unique. This activity linked beautifully to our literacy core text of the week, ‘Elmer’, and gave us the opportunity to explore colour, creativity and individuality. We loved seeing how everyone’s Elmer was different and special!
