This half term, Year 4 became engineers as they designed and built their own STEAM buzz wire games. Working collaboratively in teams, the children showed fantastic enthusiasm, creativity and determination throughout the project. They explored how to build a complete electrical circuit, testing and improving their ideas until the light bulb lit up when the handle touched the wire. It was wonderful to see their excitement as their circuits came to life!
Alongside developing their understanding of electricity, the children demonstrated excellent teamwork, communication and problem-solving skills. Together, they designed and built their games, making thoughtful decisions about how challenging to make their buzz wire course. They supported one another, persevered when things did not work the first time, and celebrated each success. We are incredibly proud of the resilience, collaboration and creativity they showed throughout the project.
