School Development Plan (SDP)

Each year, the school senior leadership team work in collaboration with our governors to identify our school development priorities. These priorities are decided upon based on results and outcomes and ongoing monitoring processes which are constantly reviewed. Our School Development Priorities underpin everything that we do and are used to inform planning and curriculum content as well as our financial budgeting.

Below you will find a list of our priorities for 2026-2027:

Inclusion

  • To further strengthen the individual support and provision for our most complex learners

Curriculum and Teaching

  • To implement the NCETM maths curriculum across KS2
  • To raise standards in mathematics across the school by improving pupils’ fluency and rapid recall of key number facts
  • To effectively implement the new LDBS units in RE across the school and ensure teaching and learning is secure

Achievement

  • To ensure our disadvantaged pupils continue to make accelerated progress from their starting points (PPG strategy)

Attendance and Behaviour

  • To increase children’s awareness in making positive choices when keeping themselves safe online

Personal development and Wellbeing

  • To continue to provide children with rich, meaningful play opportunities through OPaL play

Leadership and Governance

  • To develop a communication strategy to ensure our positive public profile is upheld

Early Years

  • To continue to enhance opportunities for children to develop their communication, language and literacy skills in the EYFS by ensuring that continuous provision enriches pupil interactions
